oh yes .. this is the one! :) how about a little saturation (specially in the blues)? Well, low contrast can serve also a certain mood. I remember in one shot from Ireland in 2009, a dull grey rock was turned colorful simply by changing to ProPhoto space. At that time I didn't understand the spaces clearly (probably still, but let's say I'm more fluent lol).
