Second Attempt at Knuckle
This is a print I have on the wall of my office. It's been rather fun to see if anyone can guess what the image is. I prefer this to the previously posted image with borders around the coupler, more abstract, fewer clues. One of the best I have done in a while, which considering how little shooting I have been doing lately is quite reassuring.

I've found that sometimes my best work comes from a time when I'm less intently focused on photography. It's like all the deliberate work one does is simply building habits toward a process of working, then when one backs off a little, one's emotions and perceptions take over, and the process, which has become second nature, simply facilitates expressing what's going on in the head and the heart.
