In Photoshop I used Helicon Focus to combine two differently focused images (the near post is only a foot away), and for optimum results used the updated Akvis Enhancer 4.2 for optimum results. Oddly in saving for the net, the advantage of Enhancer didn't reproduce so I can only suggest you experiment with it - no more crashes which was my only previous reservation - definitely a useful additional tool.
