Uwe Steinmuller suggested I check out the Lightroom templates of Matthew Campagna at Turning Gate. You can link to the same Deadwood Portfolio images but in a different style. This one can be navigated by using the arrow keys on the keyboard, very nice.

Great portfolio George. Your natural abstracts are excellent as always. I prefer this second gallery template. It's cleaner, and I found the clipped numbers in the first to be distracting. The arrow key navigation is a great touch as well.
Yes, I agree. This gallery is very nice. The images are excellent.
I just added this style to my Lightroom and really like the output. I wonder if I could do the resizing and interpolation rather than Lightroom before the gallery is created?
I too like the second one better especially at full screen. However, unless you were told, you would never know that you could use the arrow keys because there is no visual clue for that, such as an arrow botton...

Thanks a lot for this tip, George.

Good point - will check on that.
Matthew's site seems to be down right now, it was the last on the list, slimsomethingorother.
O.K. I checked out photostack gallery and that lead to TTG slimbox Gallery which is the one I loaded into lightroom.
