My wife has already nixed this image, but I like it. It certainly breaks compositional rules, dividing the image in half as it does and centreing the main interest horizontally as well. As I only shot it 30 minutes ago, there's a real risk I'll decide in the next day or so that it's complete crap, but for now I like it and thought I'd share it.

I like the composition very much. There is tension between the two halves and that follows principles. But if a picture works, who cares about the principles. I'm more interested in your view of the shadows falling on the sunface.
