Looking like a Greek ruin, this was in fact a long abandoned coal tipple in the Crows Nest Pass in southern Alberta> this area continues to ship coal in 100 car long trains to the west coast and onto Japan and other points.

It's actually the Mowhawk Tipple, and it's part of the old Hillcrest Mine. :)
