Well, just to not leave any image uncommented on, I found the first shot just incredibly weird in a good way. My total expectation is this nice old weathered wall and then there is this very jarring crisp billboard. I just kept looking and looking. It was such a contrast and I liked the way it was down there in the corner. Interesting how jangling it was
The other part of the first picture with the old wall and the 'new' billboard is that the billboard actually says 'the heart of the new west' which contrasts so nicely with one of Calgarys oldest large buildings - the Grain Exchange.
