Finally, an overcast afternoon so I could photograph some of the steel sitting outside the machine shop. Just as well as everything was locked up. I was able to make a series of images, this being just the beginning.

Sadly, my aesthetic "spidey-sense" went hay-wire when I saw this. For some reason, this reminds me of one of those (increasingly prevalent) over-processed HDR images, or an old photocopy of b&w print. While I'd be happy to conceed that it may be a faithful image of the original scene, I find it somehow 'artificial'.
