Appealing with crazy DOF. I got sucked right into the composition. Did you use a helicon focus technique on this??
90 ts-e, tilted fore and aft to cover the bottom and top apple then f16.

Ah yes, I see it now. The apple in the bottom of the bowl is out of focus so the plane cuts across the image at the angle you described. Cool. Nice job
