Barrels, Barrels, and More Barrels

Shot with the 90 ts-e and taking advantage of the tilt mechanism to set the plane of focus across the barrels, about one ring in.

The first thing that attracts me is the the color and the light. The other things (composition, sharpness, etc.) are also well done. For me a interesting picture.

Can you say something about the light situation (backlight, light in the morning ...)?

Which color adjustment are made in PS?

Sorry about my poor english but I'm not a native speaker.

Thanks

This is absolutely mesmerizing. The wide range of tones and hues really come through.

Was this a single shot or some sort of HDR composite?

Either way it's quite impressive.

The image was shot last weekend in Calgary so the sun is quite low, mid afternoon so there's some warmth to the light, a single image cropped (the colours of the drums to the left of the image didn't fit as well).
